FRP Sheet Introduction

FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester) sheet is a kind of transparent natural lighting product which is successively shaped through mechanization by adopting such materials as non-soda glass fiber, reinforced polyester resin, import high-performance anti-ageing film( or gal) and addictive. The product FRP sheet is deeply welcomed by consumers. Because FRP sheet has many merits: bright and clean appearance, light weight and high performance, high light transmittance, anti-corrosive, anti-ageing, fireproofing, accurate cross-section size, not seeping, random length cutting, easy to install and service life reaching as long as 15 to 20 years. It can be widely applied in natural lighting in animal or plant greenhouse, the roof of industrial workshop and civil construction, wall surface natural lighting, cover plate and base plate of solar water heater as well as other places which require natural lighting and long- term service.

Characteristic Merits:

Bright and clean appearance, accurate cross- section size, random length cutting, on the surface covering special thin film, anti-ageing, as long as 15 to 20 service years; transmittance reaching as high as above 85%. Due to its strong permeability and uniform distribution of fiber, indoor sunlight assumes diffusion and gentle; reducing the damage to plant; strong enough to bear the pounding of ice storm (strong wind) and have no effect on normal use; small thermal conductivity, good heat preservation effect, heat deterioration being 35-48% lower than single layer glass and plastic thin film. For chill area, we can provide double- layer FRP sheet, transmittance reaching above 75% and can meet the demand of natural lighting and warming.

Technical Parameters of FRP Sheet:
  • Good tenacity. No cracking phenomenon when driving nails in roof installation
  • Having close combining with color steel plate. Cross- section thickness is uniform. The shape of FRP sheet is consistent with steel plate.
  • Transmittance loss rate is low. No yellowing phenomenon after long term service.

Skylight FRP sheet takes non-soda glass fiber as reinforced material whose content is not lower than 30% exceeding in similar products. Its content proportion greatly accords with the scientific standards. Consequently Skylight FRP sheet has quality tenacity and rigidity.
